Recently, two American designers showed their collections of cosmetics. Jason Wu developed his line in collaboration with Lancôme, and Michael Kors finally launched his own brand.
Jason Wu's lineup includes 15 items: mascara, lipsticks, varnishes, eye shadow palettes, all in a gray design unusual for Lancôme. Kors has a story of its own: the collection is divided into three parts, each set by the scent. So, notes of ginger and sandalwood in Sexy Amber support the red colors of varnishes and lipsticks, currants and jasmine Glam Jasmine - berry and plum, and Sporty Citrus - calm beige; each micro-collection also contains powder.
For Lancôme, this is not the first collaboration with the designer this year: Albert Elbaz's Lancôme Show palettes can still be found in stores, and an independent collection of Marc Jacobs cosmetics has recently gone on sale - no less than 124 items.
