Bodhi the dog, famed for the mensweardog blog, where the owners upload pictures of him in menswear and give style advice on his behalf, has taken up a new business: the four-year-old Shiba Inu is launching his own brand of clothing for dogs. Dog owners David Fung and Ena Kim have registered their project on the indiegogo crowdfunding platform and hope that Bodhi fans and dog lovers will help raise the necessary $ 20,000 to launch their debut collection, consisting of a jacket, shirt and bow tie.
“When we first jokingly dressed our dog in men's clothes, we could not imagine that our life would change. Not only did we become popular, but we also received hundreds of letters from other dog owners asking us to help them with clothing for their pets. After much deliberation, we decided to launch our own brand, which will include the clothes that Bodhi likes,”- this is how the project is described.
In the form of bonuses for various donation amounts, David Fung and Yona Kim will present a whole world of possibilities: for $ 300 you can play with Bodhi in New York's Central Park, and for $ 500 you can also get a complete dog outfit with the mensweardog logo.
At the same time, the owners of the dog emphasize that the profit from the sale of the future collection will go to help homeless animals.
