FOR THE HEADING "WARDROBE" we photograph beautifully, distinctively or oddly dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell stories related to them. The heroine of the new material, photographer and artist Meri Karhu shows how to wear the Agent Provocateur corset in everyday life and skillfully combine vintage and Topshop.
Topshop coat, vintage shirt and hat, Vagabond shoes

Choosing their wardrobe, people try to choose things in stores that match their inner world. I searched for a Topshop coat on eBay: it was sold out in the brand's stores a few years ago, but I was obsessed with it. When I look like this, I rather ambitiously want people to look at me and think, "She is the reincarnation of Cruella de Ville, and her blood is red wine."
Vintage dress and hat, Primark earrings, Topshop belt, Vagabond shoes

I'll call this bow "Popular Pennsylvania Girl." I love cool hats. Now I want to buy a big cowboy hat and maybe a pair of matching boots that you can wear on tables in saloons.
H&M dress, jacket painted by myself, earrings from Etsy, Vagabond shoes

What I lack in manners, I make up in this hellish bow. The name on the jacket, Hestia, belongs to the Greek goddess of architecture, home, family and more. Hestia is the Greek equivalent of Roman Vesta. Vesta is the name of my best friend.
Vintage robe and scarf, Topshop necklace, Etsy earrings

I will not venture into my fantasies about 18th century mansions with marble baths, expensive linens and snakes as pets.
Vintage shirt, Topshop skirt, hair ornament borrowed from a friend

I want to be a forest queen who lives inside different plants. Even in this outfit, I can convince little girls that I am a fortune teller. There are also two colors that I seem to collect: emerald and amethyst.
Motel dress, glasses from the party store, Topshop tights, Vagabond shoes

The color of this dress is reminiscent of shiny tropical bees. I love everything shiny.
Vintage Coats & Shirt, Topshop Sweater, Urban Outfitters Shorts, Topshop Belt, Vagabond Shoes

On ordinary boring Mondays, I can just dress all in pink and start daydreaming about a female punk band. Or get in a pink car from the 1950s, go to the diner for a strawberry milkshake, and chill out with the guys at The Breakfast Club.
Topshop sweater, American Apparel skirt, vintage bag, H&M tights, Vagabond shoes

Now heroines of fairy tales inspire me. This bow is reminiscent of Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Here I tried to look cute, but at the same time able to break the neck to anyone who looks at me askance.
Faux fur coat, Topshop necklace and tights, Agent Provocateur corset, Vagabond shoes

This is what I'm going to look like when I dramatically enter hell, making some movements from Beyoncé's arsenal to take the place that is in store for me - the throne. Awful, but now I am repeating the Gothic period, which was still twelve years old.
Monki coat, Topshop top, vintage skirt, mom's headband, Vagabond shoes

They say that in these clothes I look like Maleficent and the Snow Queen at the same time. I think that's a compliment.
