The first trailer for the comedy "Ultra-Americans" with Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart has been published on YouTube. In the center of the plot of "Ultra-Americans" are ordinary residents of a provincial town, whose life is turned upside down. Jassie Eisenberg's character Mike works at the 24 Hours store, smokes marijuana nonstop and plans to propose to his girlfriend Phoebe, played by Kristen Stewart. Their peaceful life collapses when it is revealed that Mike is a special agent whose memories have been blocked. Despite the fact that he does not remember anything, his special skills are activated, so that seemingly harmless Mike is able to kill the enemy with a spoon. The hero will have to fight for his quiet family happiness when they decide to remove him under the pretext of the potential threat he poses.
The film is based on a script by Max Landis. Landis is the son of director John Landis, a polymath and beloved Los Angeles geek, who has already shot several short films and the Chronicle. The film was directed by Nima Nurizade, who made the comedy "Project X: Dorvali" about friends who started the party of the century. Stewart and Eisenberg have already worked together in the movie "Park of Culture and Leisure". The world premiere will take place on August 21, and in Russia the release is scheduled for September 3.
