A year ago, Time magazine included Kylie Jenner in the list of the most influential teenagers, along with her sister Kendall, dancer Maddie Ziegler and human rights activist Malala Yusufzai. A couple of months earlier, 18-year-old Kylie announced that she was launching her own cosmetic line - more precisely, Kylie Lip Kit sets of matte liquid lipsticks and lip liner. A one-off venture quickly grew into a small cosmetic empire: the lipsticks in the sets were followed by new lipsticks, glosses, an eyeshadow palette - all mostly in brown tones and with an emphasis on the fact that Kylie's lips are a good judge. Not everything went smoothly - the same brilliance was criticized for the ill-conceived length of the brush, which simply did not fit into a tube. It was evident that the brand approached the production of cosmetics in the spirit of rapid consumption. However, this did not stop the buyers: more than half of the funds in the official Kylie Cosmetics store have long been sold out.
Something unimaginable is happening with the new collection: the “limit” in honor of the birthday of the brand's founder (she turns nineteen on August 10) was put on sale yesterday morning, American time, by lunchtime everything was sold out, and only Bustle dedicated sixteen to her materials per day. On this one could say that the monetization of Jenner's name is in full swing, and put an end, but this is at least unfair - the collection is really good and could get on our list of the best bronze collections this summer, if Kylie had the habit of announcing everything in advance rather than at the last moment.
The festive collection, as expected, includes several types of glosses, a lip pencil and a mini-set of matte lipsticks, cream eyeshadows and a spacious cosmetic bag with Kylie's branded lip logo. Everything is in gold, and literally: real 24-carat gold has been added to the products. Also in the collection there is a completely new product for Jenner - a set with the self-explanatory name Kyliner, consisting of eyeliner and gel eyeliner, as well as a beveled brush that is easy to apply. Moreover, a couple of months ago, Kylie patented two more names - Kyshadow and Kybrow - so they clearly intend to develop a line of products for eyebrows and eyes. Next time, you can buy the entire limited collection as a whole (for the merciless $ 195) or products that have sunk into your soul separately (from $ 16 to $ 42) on August 4 at 11 pm Moscow time - and, as experience shows, if you decide, then it is better not to hesitate a minute.
