Model and activist Amber Rose is launching her own cosmetics brand called Flirt Cosmetics with Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. and Creative Director Donald Robertson, renowned for his fashion illustrations and work for MAC and Bobbi Brown.
“When Robertson gave me the idea to create Flirt Cosmetics, I thought he was crazy. I am all covered with tattoos and shave baldly, I speak rudely and frankly about sex, I say what I think. Do you really think I should be the face of a cosmetics brand? " Rose said. According to the brand's concept, Flirt Cosmetics is a cosmetics for a “new generation” of girls who are confident in themselves and their sexuality and are not afraid of experiments.
Rose and Robertson will unveil the brand's first products on September 15th and will only be available on the Flirt Cosmetics website. The creators of the brand expect that the main audience of the brand - at least for the first time - will be Rose's fans and her followers on social networks (12 million people are subscribed to the celebrity's Instagram).
On the Flirt Cosmetics website, it will be possible not only to buy makeup products, but also to learn how to use them - Rose and Robertson are planning to make a large section with video tutorials. There is now one video posted on the site in which Rose introduces her brand's first product, a false eyelash applicator.
