The Cut reports that comedian Amy Schumer is no longer working on her show on Comedy Central - at least new episodes of "Inside Amy Schumer" are currently not filming.
Schumer spoke about this, commenting on the scandal with the former author of her show and friend Kurt Metzger: the man accused the victims of sexual violence by the famous comedian of victimization and stated that women should be taught self-defense, and it is pointless to condemn the rapist without contacting the police (about that why these and other typical accusations against survivors of violence are unfair, we wrote in a separate article).
For several days, Schumer did not comment on Metzger's statements in any way, but in the end she said that they were very upset and disappointed: “He is my friend and a great author, and I am totally against his recent statements,” the comedian wrote on Twitter. - He's not working on my show. Please stop asking me this. His words are not my words. " It was later revealed that neither Metzger nor Schumer herself are currently filming new episodes of "Inside Amy Schumer" - the authors of The Cut suggested that either the entire fifth season had already been filmed (which is unlikely), or the show had been canceled altogether.
