Fenty Puma by Rihanna, the first collection of Rihanna as the art director of a sports brand, was presented tonight in New York. The collection will go on sale worldwide on September 7, and in Russia it will be possible to buy clothes in the Moscow concept store KM20.
The creator of the collection reinterprets the trends and traditions of Japanese street culture with the help of Gothic elements and exaggerated volumes and proportions. In garments, the boundaries between strictly masculine and feminine silhouettes are deliberately blurred - Rihanna opposes gender restrictions in fashion and emphasizes that things from her collection do not have a "gender".
The first capsule collection included kimonos, bomber jackets with hieroglyphs, crop tops and trousers with flared sleeves and legs, trousers with lacing in the silhouette and sweatshirts with prints, including the image of the rising sun, bra and lace-up skirts, as well as boots on thick sole and cap. Other "capsules" of the collection will go on sale in October and November and will include tops, hoodies, dresses and oversized trousers.
