French cosmetics brand Lancôme has unveiled a new ad campaign featuring Australia's Rosie Batty, a 54-year-old activist who fights domestic violence after surviving a tragedy in her own family.

In 2014, Batty's son was killed by her ex-husband, a tyrant in the home. This event caused a huge resonance, and Betty herself, soon after the incident, began to speak in the press, urging society to pay attention to the problem of domestic violence, which is faced by one in three women in Australia. Batty founded the Luke Batty Foundation (in honor of Luke, her deceased child): now this organization helps survivors of domestic violence, gives them the opportunity to speak out and fight for their rights. Rosie Betty was named Australian of the Year last year.

Lancôme offered Batty articles for the heroine of the Love Your Age campaign: the Australian managed not only to make society pay attention to the problem of domestic violence, but also to destroy the stereotype that after 50 it makes no sense to start a new career. In the campaign video, she is called "the woman who did not give up and continued to fight, and as a result, her lonely voice was supported by 500 thousand other Australians."

Lancôme is urged to join the crowdfunding campaign in support of the Luke Batty Foundation on October 11, with every amount donated to the foundation that day will be doubled by a French company.
