Business of Fashion has published an annual list of the most influential people in the fashion industry. This year 12 Russians got into it, five of them were in the top 500 for the first time.

Newcomers of this year are designer Gosha Rubchinsky, creator of the Marfa Journal magazine and graduate of Central Saint Martins Alexandra Gordienko, stylist Lotta Volkova, working with the new art director of Balenciaga Demna Gvasalia, owner of the KM20 concept store Olga Karput and actress, director and creative director of Numéro magazine Russia Renata Litvinova. Among those who have already appeared on the list of Business of Fashion are supermodel and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, founder of the Buro 24/7 website Miroslava Duma, owner of the Babochka chain of stores Khatulya Avsadzhanashvili, owners of Mercury Retail Group Leonid Fridlyand and Leonid Strunin, as well as Mikhail Kusnirovich and Ekaterina Moiseeva, the founders of the Bosco di Ciliegi brand and the owners of the controlling stake in GUM.
