IN THE HEADING "IN BOOKMARKS" we talk about sites and online services - both useful and completely useless, but funny and amazing - which, in fact, should be added to your favorites or added to your RSS feed.
Glamor Daze is a comprehensive and regularly updated blog dedicated to vintage fashion, hair and makeup. It's easier to talk about what is not here than to list all the topics covered. Many photographs of women from the beginning of the century, stories about Hollywood divas and a whole section dedicated to fashion during the Second World War are just a small part of the archive.
The most pleasant thing is that many of the site's materials are not built as historical excursions, but are provided with explanations (well, maybe some of them are 60 years out of date) how to create this or that fashionable image from the last century. Want a Lauren Bacall or Elizabeth Taylor hairstyle? You are welcome. Not sure how to remove makeup with Pond's cream? See here. By the way, the YouTube channel on which video materials are posted to fill the site is quite self-sufficient. There are tons of short and informative vintage fashion videos and hardcore tutorials from the past. A great source of inspiration - both for every day, and in case you decide to dress up not Harley Quinn on the upcoming Halloween.
