In a world of daily stress, fast food and a sedentary lifestyle there is nothing more valuable than wellness. How to quickly get in shape, cheer up and instantly feel better - our express instruction will tell you.
Not always we can afford to be scattered or unproductive - things are calling. At times, you yourself really want to concentrate and not be distracted by everything, but stress, unnecessary thoughts and a million urgent matters at once interfere with concentration, and advice like “take a walk” and “take a break” sounds like an impermissible luxury. The temperament and mental characteristics cannot be changed in a minute or a month, but there are several simple ways to pull yourself together and take a sober look at a situation when time is running out.
Organize your room or workplace. Often our worries and desire to take control of something are poured into spontaneous cleaning - and sometimes it works. Take a break and clear the space around at the same time. The main thing is not to lead to fanaticism.
Move the mobile phone out of sight. Until this device becomes an additional organ, it is worth parting with it from time to time. Like notifications may stimulate dopamine production, but they are unlikely to help you collect your thoughts.
Meditate - we have already told you how and why. You can close your eyes and watch your breathing, or you can fix your gaze on any stationary object a few meters away and look at it without looking away. It is believed that the brain can only solve one task at a time, so there is a hope that unnecessary thoughts will disappear and you will understand what to do next.
Change the music. Or turn it on. Or turn it off. In general, pay attention to the sounds that you surround yourself with. Instead of a boring playlist, choose a podcast, try nature sound apps, and look for white noise that suits you. Very unusual sounds or complete silence can return you to a resource state (there are earplugs for this).
Make a plan. Sometimes this is the only way not to go crazy in cases of excruciating procrastination or in difficult situations that require an exit. Having prepared a list of actions, immediately proceed to the first step. By taking at least some measures, you will convince yourself of your own productivity, and, perhaps, anxiety will decrease.
