The “What are you doing” column could be entirely dedicated to billionaire and US presidential candidate Donald Trump. The author of many expressive statements and speaking ideas, Trump is also known for his promise to build a wall on the border with Mexico: in this way he proposes to solve the issue of illegal migrants.
Mexican studio Estudio 3.14, taking the idea of closed borders as a basis, decided to clearly show all its absurdity. As conceived by young professionals from the city of Guadalajara, the wall separating the two countries should be painted pink and stretch for 3,145 kilometers - from the Pacific coast to the Gulf of Mexico. This concept is partly a tribute to Pulitzer Prize winner Luis Barragan and his flamboyant work with color. The implication is also that the wall should be not just a fence, but a prison in which 11 million people who tried to illegally cross the border can be simultaneously held.
