It seems that everyone and everyone managed to attend yoga classes: today this practice is perceived much more neutral, without the obligatory connection with the Vedas, alternative medicine and others. And if in our latitudes one can still hear the opinion that yoga is not quite a "male" occupation (although initially it was men who were engaged in it), then all over the world - from India to the USA - there are almost more than women. Amateur guys are also actively practicing - in a variety of forms and directions. American Joshua Altman found a peculiar approach to yoga: he combines it with extreme sports and travel.
On his Instagram, Joshua demonstrates both intricate and basic asanas and is most often photographed in a handstand or headstand. To do this, he finds unusual places: from skate parks and industrial zones to mountain peaks and trees. Joshua's photos and videos from training in pair yoga also inspire hope: in his performance, classes with a partner do not look painful, but give the impression of fun leisure. In addition to yoga, Altman enjoys cycling and climbing, loves diving and hiking, snowboarding, and camping in the Pacific Islands. The extreme yogi tries to try as much new as possible: he takes lessons from his fellow instructors, finds unexplored routes and exchanges experiences with athletes around the world.
