FOR THE HEADING "WARDROBE" we photograph beautifully, distinctively or oddly dressed people in their favorite things and ask them to tell stories related to them. This week our heroine is designer Gloria Krauts.

I can't and don't want to take fashion seriously. I go to shops very rarely, I often find myself there by accident. But foreign flea markets and second-hand shops are an important part of any trip. I love it when people perceive clothes as a costume or decoration, sarcastically, bypassing all fashionable rules. The most important thing is not to bother. If you are sad and do not want to pack, dress, paint, you don’t need to, you can go outside in your pajamas. It doesn't seem to me that the appearance and the occasion should somehow match each other: I can safely go to school in an evening dress, and to a party - in things smeared with paint after painting the walls.

Zara dress, Dr. Martens

The print of the fabric reminds me of the upholstery of an armchair or sofa in the country. There is charm, naivety and absurdity in this velvet. When I examined it properly, I simply could not pass by. This dress also helped me to notice a funny thing: as soon as I put on a new thing I liked, failures immediately tend to magnetically towards it. In this dress, for example, in the first hour a lighted cigarette flew in, which safely left a scar on him.

Unknown brand sheepskin coat, Monki culottes, Uniqlo sweater

The super-stupid sheepskin coat cost me 500 rubles and has been serving faithfully for five years already. In it I feel like a Soviet worker at a factory who has escaped from shift for lunch.

A sweater from the men's department, Uniqlo is ready to confess her feelings forever. Quality, material, and most importantly, cut - everything is as needed. It would seem that finding an ordinary black warm sweater is not a problem, but no. Especially among female models who love to fit and show the curves of the body with curved lines. That is why I buy all basic things like T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, and sometimes shirts in men's departments.

Zara bodysuit, Monki pants, H&M shoes

I love theatrical and character things. This body either Pierrot or a clown has settled in my wardrobe quite recently, but has already won my favor. Pants, like everything from Monki, were waiting for me at the sale and waited. So we live with them in perfect harmony.

But the shoes appeared in a very controversial way. Once I went with a friend to the store for the company, giving a bunch of arguments why I do not like H&M, and stumbled upon them. A moment later, they are already taking money from my hands at the cash register.

Zara culottes, Monki shirt, I sewed a bag on a belt myself, adidas shoes

These culottes with deep cuts were presented to me by a friend. The shoes were given by a friend: the couple was without laces, because the dog decided to eat them. This, of course, did not bother me - it is not a problem to find a replacement. At home, there was only one spare lace, and then I could not decide how I like it more: with or without ties. I left it that way, and I walk. I sewed the bag a long time ago in an attempt to get rid of sadness and distraction. She had seen, of course, a lot. In general, everything is simple with bags: for many years I have been choosing canvas shoppers. It is very convenient for me to carry A3 folders and other necessary things in them every day. I probably have ten of them. I usually buy them at punk festivals. Somehow even such an incident happened at a party: I stood and talked with friends, where they smoked, and suddenly everyone started screaming and hitting my bag. It turned out that I was set on fire and it began to burn. As a result, the thing died under the comment "Come on, you have a hundred of these."

Cardigan, overalls, Monki beret and socks, T-shirt - group merchandise, Dr. Martens

The T-shirt is a merch of one of the favorite bands. She slowly begins to die, but I'm not at all ready to let her go to another world, especially since the guys no longer play, I hope, temporarily. The inscription translated from Dutch means "high treason".The beret was presented for the New Year, it warms the ears and soul and sometimes helps to present oneself as a Frenchwoman.

Haunted socks are a small souvenir from the Basurman holiday Halloween, which I have recently taken with my loved ones watching movies and eating pumpkin pies. All that remains is to find the pajamas for next time.

Unknown brand knitted top, I made the shirt-jacket myself, Dr. Martens

She recently made the jacket herself, inspired by the sketches of work clothes and costumes for the theatrical production "Vasily Turkin" by Stepanova and Rodchenko. When I put it on, I immediately imagine myself as a foreman or a painter.

Trousers and a sweater I made myself, socks of an unknown brand, shoes by Dr. Martens

I really like to break off at the first call - the lack of funds never bothered me. So, a year and a half ago, my friend and I spontaneously set off on a hitchhiking trip across Scandinavia with backpacks and a tent, without a single registration and money. It was one of the most wonderful travel experiences. Breakfast by the lakes, tea at the top of the mountains, overnight in the forests and absolute suspense - just a road wherever you look. After driving along the southern coast of Norway and looking around, I decided to make a capsule collection dedicated to landscapes on the way. This sweater is just my little piece of a mossy mountain in Norway, and the trousers are a memory of a blue-gray fog.

Topshop crop top, Monki skirt, sewn raincoat myself, Dr. Martens

This thing was born during the dissection of fabrics. I found a striped skein and decided to immediately put it into action. As a result, such a clown cloak came out, the trims did not disappear either, and they took root well on the sleeves and on the shelf.

A good trench coat was found, when it was no longer expected, in the men's department of Uniqlo in size XL, and that length is still a little lacking for me. I love things for the maximum number of sizes larger. I absolutely suffer from gigantomania.

Mom's Denim, Unknown Brand ASOS Dress, Valentino Bag

She took the jacket away from my mother as a teenager. Denim happily walked all the parties with her, and now she walks with me. I think she will dance with pleasure with more than one generation. In general, this jacket loves to parties and is always ready to hide two bottles of wine in its pockets, for example. For this, all my friends love her very much, and so do I.

This vintage-inspired dress actually found me at ASOS. Once I played basketball in it: it seems that things did not really like such loads.

The old leather jacket passed to me from my aunt. She still collects rave questions and compliments at parties.

Earrings from India and Topshop

Earrings are the only piece of jewelry without which I feel sad. I love big and heavy, however, the ears often resist. Most of the couples were brought to me from India at various times. I successfully dug up earrings with turquoise tassels in Topshop about five years ago. My favorites remind me of bells, the ringing of which can call spirits.

Brooches from India

Brooches were brought to me from India: they scare me and fascinate me at the same time. They evoke associations with voodoo dolls.

Perfumes: Sikkim Girls Lush, Tokyo Milk, Flower Barrow Lush

I love perfumes for bringing them to memories or places with which the scent is associated. So, for example, two of the three fragrances tell about the very real Purbeck Island in Dorset and the hills in Sikkim. In general, I like strange smells: oily, heavy, woody and earthy. I am also attracted by the stories behind the products. It is important for me to hear the smells myself, but many of those around me are also delighted and ask about them. Surely there are those who suffocate, curse me and send me "to their Himalayas."
