IN A WORLD OF DAILY STRESS, FAST FOOD AND A SITTEN LIFESTYLE there is nothing more valuable than wellness. How to quickly get in shape, cheer up and instantly feel better, our express instruction will tell you.
Whatever our professional responsibilities include - meetings in different parts of the city or a sedentary job, teaching German or making chairs - after a working day we often get tired mentally and physically. As a result, the time intended for rest passes in a blues and endless thoughts about business. In a moment, reconsider the attitude to work, solve all everyday problems at once and restore one hundred percent health - we do not know how to do this (and whether it is possible). But we know simple ways to disconnect from problems for a while and ensure ourselves a calm evening - and not necessarily only at the end of the week.
Do not plunge into Telegram from the doorway, but take off all layers of winter clothes and go to a warm shower. Having warmed up, you will relax a little and, perhaps, immediately return to life.
Just stop thinking about work. It’s not that easy, so don’t try to forget about the problems: promise yourself that you will deal with them tomorrow morning. Chances are that there will be nothing to decide. This is a life hack with a beard, but rarely fails.
Master breathing exercises. In essence, this is the same meditation: it helps relieve stress and teaches you to concentrate. The Zen Habits blog, which we have already talked about, clearly and easily describes various breathing techniques and other ways to control the sometimes tiresome stream of consciousness.
If you can't stop cheating yourself, turn your attention to other things - just not those that require serious decisions. For example, the anti-stress role of creativity has long been proven. As a kind of occupational therapy, it is not necessary to play music or paint. You can sit down to a coloring book for your favorite TV show or cook a delicious dinner - from the very first minutes it will become easier.
It happens that there is no strength either to cook or eat normally, but fatigue is not a reason to deplete the body even more. Let there always be healthy snacks in the refrigerator for such a case: seasonal vegetables, the most common fruits like apples and bananas, nuts, breads or hummus.
Do not treat yourself to sadness and fatigue with alcohol. There is nothing wrong with a glass of wine, but if you do drink, do it when your condition is smooth and cheerful. A far better solution for an evening of a hard day is leisurely yoga or a fun book.
