The organizers of the Venice Biennale have published a list of artists whose works will be exhibited as part of the main project - this year it will be called "Long Live Art", curated by Christine Masel. 120 artists from 51 countries will take part in the project, including Russian women Taus Makhacheva and Irina Korina, as well as Vadim Fishkin, now living and working in Ljubljana.

The 57th Venice Biennale will be open from 13 May to 26 November 2017. Earlier it became known that the Russian pavilion will display works by Grisha Bruskin, Sasha Pirogova and the Recycle art group.

Irina Korina develops the ideas of Ilya Kabakov, creating total installations - often discouraging and ironic. The artist twice, in 2008 and 2014, won the All-Russian competition in the field of contemporary art "Innovation".

Taus Makhacheva recently became a laureate of the Kandinsky Prize in the category “Young Artist. Project of the Year”- we spoke to the artist about her performances and superhero alter ego shortly after the award was awarded.
