Every day beautiful or impossibly beautiful things appear in the world, and some of them can be looked at endlessly. Or at least a couple of minutes - to unload the brain, escape from the routine and give rest to the eyes.
The Taschen publishing house, famous for their XXL albums called Sumo, has added another genius to their collection. This time, on five hundred pages, 50 by 70 centimeters in size, almost all the creative heritage of one of the main representatives of pop art of the 1960s and the most influential artist of the 20th century, David Hockney, fits. The album contains more than 450 drawings, collages, scene designs and even sketches on an iPad - everything that came out of his hands for sixty years, from his studies at Bradford High School to the present day. Hockney himself worked closely with the publishing house during the work on the album and was pleased with the result, saying that only during the production he could estimate the volume of his creative baggage. The book was published in a limited edition of nine thousand copies, and you can buy it for almost 130 thousand rubles - in general, it is not harmful to dream.
