In Toronto, in the forty-first year of life, the founder of the cosmetic brand Deciem, Brandon Truax, has passed away. This was reported in the company's official Instagram account. The cause of death was not disclosed.
“Brandon, founder of the company and our friend. You touched our hearts, inspired our minds and made us believe that anything is possible. Thank you for every smile, every lesson and every moment of your genius. We still cannot imagine a world without you. We promise to take care of each other and work even harder to continue to bring your vision to life. We hope you find peace. We love (always), your Deciem,”the publication says.
Estée Lauder representatives also expressed their condolences on the news of the death of Brandon Truax and stressed that his innovative and ingenious ideas have changed the minds of millions of people around the world.
Recall that Truax founded Deciem in 2013 and in just a few years it has become one of the most progressive cosmetic brands on the market. Estée Lauder soon acquired the company's shares. But in October 2018, due to controversial posts on social media and numerous complaints about Truax's behavior towards employees, temporary deputy Nicola Kelner took over as CEO.
