Designer Virgil Abloh presented his first advertising campaign, which he directed at Louis Vouitton. Filming was done by Dutch duo Inez & Vinoodh, photographer Raymond Wood and Algerian multimedia artist Mohamed Burouissa. The designer invited teenagers and children to participate as models, the youngest of whom is only three years old.
“In this campaign, I wanted to do something universal and human at its core. Comprehensive and dense, something with its own gravity. So I decided that I would focus on adolescence, not menswear. What makes a man a man? Different stages of his life: from infantile age to adolescence and growing up,”said Virgil Abloh.
Recall that in March last year, the designer took the position of creative director of Louis Vuitton men's clothing. Prior to that, since 2013, he developed his own brand, Off-White.
