I used to wear my clothes in early childhood. behind second cousins - their closets were full of things brought from different parts of the world. I remember how I arranged a real fashion show in front of my grandparents, and a couple of times I even threw tantrums on my mother, defending my chosen pair of trousers. Grandma and Mom were always terrible fashionistas, so instead of playing, I looked at their wardrobe. Mom was a talented artist, whose sketches were used to make runway collections, and I wanted to repeat after her - I made clothes for dolls and drew silhouettes of long-legged models.

I gravitated towards art from an early age. Mom organized art exhibitions, so foreign artists often stayed at our home, whom I could drive around Moscow all day. Even as a child, I constantly spent time in museums and galleries - in many ways this set the trajectory of my future life. Now I work at the Polytechnic Museum and am engaged in the main exhibition, which we are preparing to open by 2020.

My style was strongly influenced by Petersburg, its nightlife and youth culture. I like avant-garde, grotesque images, and I try to make non-trivial accents: bright shadows, a high platform, huge shoulders. There was a time when I was fond of sneaker culture, but once I counted twenty-four pairs of sneakers, I realized that the situation was out of control. That period of consumerism made me think about ecology and inequality in our society. Since I started to develop as an artist, the main color of my wardrobe is black. I also try to choose things in which I can escape from the office to an opening or a party. True, over time I began to like more austere silhouettes - it seems that because of this people are afraid to talk to me once again.

Dress from the showroom INDEXflat, boots Dr. Martens, a scarf from Dikaya Kost

My love for the INDEXflat showroom began with this dress - I always give preference to intimate places, the creation of which is an interesting personality.

For many years now I have been alternating martins with sneakers. I feel confident in boots, and sneakers are just my favorite shoes since childhood. After I sold those twenty-four pairs, I have accumulated a fortune - now I buy only what I really like.

This vintage silk scarf is from a store I do with a good friend. Once she brought from Tbilisi a whole suitcase of amazingly beautiful things: marble boxes, bronze candlesticks and much more. Then I realized that I needed to immediately offer her to open a store - and this is how our project began.

Susan Sontag's notebook and book Against Interpretation

I love Susan Sontag very much, she inspires me.

Sweatshirt Y2K Aesthetic, dress -t, boots Urban Outfitters

The dress was presented by a friend. Although it was made to order, the dress turned out to be too big for her - and it was perfect for me. Now it is one of my favorites. Urban Outfitters bought the boots in Berlin after getting drunk at a wedding.

Jacket from Dikaya Kost store, Mango jeans, Asya Malbershtein belt, Dr. Martens

I love flare. In jeans, a loose fit and a high waist are important to me - I like it when my legs look disproportionately long.

Fur coat from Saint Ouen market, T-shirt Henrik Vibskov

On a recent trip to Paris, I went to Saint Ouen market in search of magic items for Dikaya Kost. There I saw this wonderful fur coat with huge shoulders and could not help but buy it.

I have a weakness - titanium brands. I love to understand their history and combine things from these brands with vintage finds.

Mike was presented by a friend at the birthday party of our mutual friend. She got it from somewhere with the words "here, I know what will suit you." It was a pleasure.

Louis Vuitton bag, box -t

I found this bag in one of the suitcases when I was moving back from St. Petersburg to Moscow. In St. Petersburg, a young man and I often gathered guests who came and went when they wanted - perhaps one of them forgot it.
