I cannot describe my style in one word, my clothing preferences change all the time. It's boring for me to stay in one guise for a long time. It was funny looking at my pictures when I was at # 10YearChallenge, but hopefully the next decade will cause fewer laughs. Style for me is watching. I try to surround myself with beautiful things from Instagram subscriptions to books, magazines and items to develop taste - and not only in clothes.
My work and colleagues influenced my style the most. When you communicate with specialists from the world of gloss all the time, you involuntarily absorb the knowledge of why things fit differently or what a good cut is. I remember how at the beginning of my work at Harper's Bazaar, a colleague helped to collect baskets in online stores, explaining that I did not need another pink pleated skirt. It was a great school.
I am less and less amenable to impulsive shopping. My "favorite" purchase, which, as it seemed then, could not live without, is the Golden Goose Deluxe Brand jeans, completely covered with sequins. A train of silver dust lay in the editorial office for a couple of years after I once came to work in them. Ninety percent of the things I buy online. My schedule is too busy and unpredictable to waste time in traffic jams and looking for parking for my belongings. The only thing I still try to buy live is jeans.

Totême is my season opening. It is easy to put together a good base from the brand's things: they have the most correct jeans, perfect turtlenecks and minimalistic dresses.

In the online store, the dress was presented without a turtleneck, but for me this move was too daring. With a turtleneck, it looks less elegant, but, in my opinion, it is much more interesting.

Favorite elegant dress in the wardrobe: when I put it on, the mood changes instantly, and the parties are successful. I fell in love with it when I saw it on someone's Instagram - it turned out that it was from the DVF SS13 collection. I even wrote several letters to the head office of the brand with a request to sew it to order, which, of course, was naive of me. A couple of years ago I came across this dress at Matchesfashion and didn’t believe it - it was the last one in the right size. It seems to me that this is a story when the thing really found me by itself.

Lately I've been trying to put together a basic wardrobe with well-fitting jeans, white T-shirts, turtlenecks, and so on. This jacket is its basis, the most universal thing: it helps out when it seems that there is nothing to wear.
