H&M has unveiled a lookbook for a new collection from the Conscious Exclusive 2019 line, which supports a sustainable approach to fashion and apparel production. That is why such modern materials as pineapple leather, an alternative to silk obtained using citrus juice, and elastic foam for shoes, obtained from algal biomass, were chosen as the main materials for clothing.
“The collection is inspired by the beauty of nature, which is reflected in patterns, flowing silhouettes and vibrant color palettes. We are delighted to introduce new, sustainable, plant-based materials to create high-quality, beautiful and fashionable products that are loud and easy to wear,”said Ann-Sophie Johansson, creative consultant at H&M.
The collection will be available on sale from April 11 at the flagship H&M store on Tverskaya and Metropolis in Moscow, all items can be found on the website and at the Nevsky Center in St. Petersburg.
