Rodarte has presented a lookbook for the first collaboration with the American brand Universal Standard, which develops clothing in the size range from XS to XXXXXL. Prior to that, Rodarte worked only with the Target network. In total, the collection includes four items in different colors: dress, blouse, skirt and jumpsuit. The lookbook was filmed in the middle of the California desert, and Tess Macmillan and Enam Asiamu were invited as models.
“Clothes are not just things that you put on yourself. They reflect your personality. They are your weapon. They are your choice of how to present yourself to the world. When someone takes that opportunity away from you, it hurts and is offensive. We wanted to create a company that doesn't care what size you wear. The only question you should ask yourself is “What do I like?” And not “Does it fit me in size?”, Said Alexandra Valdman, co-founder of Universal Standard.
The collection is available for purchase on the Rodarte website, with items ranging from $ 150 to $ 240.
