The thermometer is creeping up, the sun is getting hotter, which means it's time to update your wardrobe with light, breathable, but stylish things. In a joint project with United Colors of Benetton, we will tell you what you can not do without this summer and how to correctly combine a jacket with a slip dress and whether shorts are acceptable in the office.
Linen longsleeve is not so common. It's a pity. For jeans on a relatively fine day - this is the very thing. This particular version is also remarkable for its color. Such a "dusty" reddish shade is called rusty peach - "rusty peach", and behind the ridiculous name hides remarkable ability to combine even with pastel shades, even with the same khaki.
This pair has a non-standard composition for the usual jeans: they consist of a third of flax. This means that they are "resistant" even to the hottest summer temperatures. The latter is also hinted at by the style of the trousers: shortened, wide, sitting almost on the hips. The loose fit is conducive to the play of proportions: a tight-fitting top is perfect for a pair of such jeans.
A light linen coat is an extremely useful thing in the coming "transition" period, when, nominally approaching summer, the weather is capricious every now and then, taking away a couple of degrees from the thermometer. Well, the delicate gray-beige shade (yes, the coat is not white, jokes out of it) is beautiful in its neutrality and can easily get along with almost any other color.
The long-cut shirt has several roles in the repertoire, mainly the main ones. If you want - fasten all the buttons and wear it outside with strict pipe trousers and loafers. If you want - unbutton, roll up the sleeves (everything is provided: for this case, the shirt has tabs) and put on the crop-top.
Wide shorts of such a comfortable length - just above the knee - are good both in the city and on vacation. To fit them into your office wardrobe, add a blouse (the more minimal, the better). A shirt will work too, including those with short sleeves. Towards evening, you can replace the top with a top in linen style - and go to a meeting with friends.
No joke: even on the red carpet, dresses with inconspicuous side pockets are highly valued (especially enterprising actresses manage to carry cookies in such ones - in case the evening gets too long). And even more so in everyday life. Such a dress will be especially useful for lovers of tiny bags, fashionable this season, in which you cannot put much: this is where the pockets will come in handy.
A trouser suit is, of course, wonderful. But a jacket (by the way, it is "lightweight" - without lining) can live its own life. In the warm season, it is easy to combine it, for example, with a silk slip dress, preferably a few shades lighter. Or with shorts - now a couple of shades darker.
An excellent alternative to the Breton strip - in case you are completely "seasick" by the nautical theme. A bright turquoise color will be a great accent. In addition, the thing takes in the composition: flax, which provides air circulation and high thermal conductivity, will definitely not let you "fry". For the rest - a T-shirt is a T-shirt: jeans, skirts, shorts - everything will look equally appropriate.
If you believe in trends and are keenly interested in them, then you probably already know: the utilitarian style has returned to fashion again, including the military direction with its inherent shades of khaki. Cropped trousers of the "correct" green tone can be worn with the top of any other "non-marking" color - beige, ocher. Or you can, according to the designers' behest, wear it with white - it will come out extremely effectively.
A deep, but not at all defiant V-neck allows (although this, of course, a matter of taste) to put on the top down, thereby "complicating" the outfit. The baggy silhouette makes the dress match both high-heeled shoes and sneakers or sneakers - and such versatility is hard not to appreciate.
