Few doubt that one of the most serious threats to the well-being of our planet is plastic: we are so used to single-use packages that we often don’t think that each of them will take centuries to decompose. The WWF organization decided to draw attention to the problem and launched a stream about how a plastic bottle decomposes. The stream began on March 30, but in the video, which can be followed on Facebook, almost nothing happens: the broadcast should last for four hundred and fifty years, until the bottle finally disintegrates. The organization also proposes to sign a petition calling on the UN at the international level to take measures to stop the pollution of the oceans with plastic, now almost 500 thousand people have signed up to it.
