This year, for the first time in the history of the Met Gala, Mango took part on an equal basis with other brands. Art director and brand ambassador Sophia Sánchez de Betac came out to represent the collaboration on the red carpet of the annual ball.
She wore a vibrant cocktail dress that matched the camp concept of the 2019 Met Gala. She also carried a clutch with a mango-colored fringe, and the fruit itself became the inspiration for the designers who worked on this look.
“This is a very important event for Mango. Thanks to such projects, we want to inspire our customers, show the versatility of the brand, offer new sensations, making them participants in our history,”says Jean Rivera, brand image director.
