Farewell to school is a great opportunity surprise everyone (and first of all yourself) by changing the usual things to conventionally elegant ones. On the other hand, if in a series of entrance exams or thinking about your future place of work you have lost your passion for reincarnation, you can always limit yourself to a laconic outfit without unnecessary details. We chose ten options for every taste and accompanied them with budget counterparts. Who said a prom dress should be outrageous? For the most responsible, we also advise you to look for unique options for a prom suit in second-hand stores - there is hardly anything more in the spirit of the times.

White with lace

Pseudo-wedding dresses - white, with lace, embroidery and rich decor from ruffles - burst into the forefront this summer and eclipsed even the lingerie trend. One of the sources of inspiration is the work of the designer from Denmark Cecilia Bansen or the British Simone Roshi. Cecilie Bahnsen's white architectural cut dresses are outrageously expensive, but the looks from the brand's lookbook will be a great tip if you want to dress simply but tastefully for prom. Add comfy hiker sandals (Teva, Suicoke, or birkenstock slippers), a string bag, and cyclist glasses to the light-colored dress.

Sequins

The permanent hit of prom night of all times and peoples - dresses in sequins - we love for their unobvious simplicity and livability. On the one hand, such an outfit is self-sufficient and requires a minimum of accessories (valuable if the budget is limited), on the other hand, it will easily fit into an everyday look in the company of a sweatshirt and grandmother slippers. In the end, it is much more pleasant not to support overproduction and look for a graduation outfit with an aim to wear it just like that - after parting with school or university.

Combination

in the style of the 90s

The hardest option to go wrong. Unlike outfits with a complex cut or dresses in the spirit of the latest collections of your favorite designers, a laconic midi dress with thin straps will look relevant ten years later - it is important if you plan to review photos from graduation with children and grandchildren! Choose a bright shade to immediately find yourself in the frames from the graduation album.

Maxi length

To feel like the queen of the evening or just surprise classmates or classmates is easiest in an evening dress to the floor. In order not to inadvertently turn into a cake (unless, of course, you have set such a goal), we advise you to rely on a laconic cut. A fitted dress with a not too tight skirt can be further adapted for summer parties and other celebrations - there are still a lot of them ahead!

To prevent classmates from trampling the hem of your dress (most likely, you do not want it to come apart at the seam with a sharp movement), try it on with different shoes in advance. It is best if the hem barely touches the floor.

Halter dress

Halter - a model with a deep cut on the back and strings around the neck - became popular in the 80s. If you choose this option, we advise you to go all the way and maintain the image completely: dark lipstick, a lot of sequins, platform shoes and catchy accessories. Where else, if not at the prom, to transform into your favorite movie characters and experiment with images?

An important point: halter does not imply a classic bra, so you will either have to buy nipple covers for the dress, or just go to the ball without underwear.

With puff sleeves

Models with voluminous lantern sleeves will appeal to those who do not really like to dress up. The main thing in such a dress is the correct cut and bright color, otherwise it is a comfortable outfit to dance a lot, move around and say goodbye to the years of study with might and main.To avoid the look of mothballs, avoid classic pumps and go for sneakers and lace or satin gloves instead.

A-line dress

Salvation for those who are serious about overproduction and do not want to buy a dress at a time. A laconic linen or cotton sundress of white color will not fail on a bike ride around the city, and on entrance exams at a creative competition, and at a family meeting at the dacha. For prom, add bright square-toed sandals and a beaded clutch and don't worry about anything - the bleach can handle even cherry juice.

Velvet

Velvet is not the most summer material, but if the event takes place in an air-conditioned room or falls on a cool summer day, a long velvet dress with a plunging neckline will solve all problems. A self-sufficient thing does not require ingenuity in the choice of accessories and goes well even with sneakers, even with suede pumps. In everyday life, just throw over jeans and grab a roomy bag made of straw.

Bustier

A dress with an accent bust that looks modest. A good example is the Dion Lee models and the inexpensive counterpart from 12Storeez. Black color, satin fabric, moderate length and an oversized jacket on the shoulders - in this form it is joyful to say goodbye to school or university, and it is not scary to meet a new adult life.

Button-down

A dress with a row of small buttons will fit perfectly into an al fresco prom or an outdoor veranda party. Add braided sandals, satin tote bag with ribbons and dark lipstick. Hint: it is best to look for retro models in vintage stores, there are plenty of originals from the 60s and 70s that have survived in a single copy and you will probably not come across to you on other graduates at the evening.
