The infernal heat that replaced the infernal cold almost instantly, a reason to pay attention to the summer cosmetic launches, the figures of which look especially advantageous in the sun. Moore Soboleva chose thirteen interesting collections from among those that can already be found on sale in Russian stores.

Lumière et Contraste

"Light and Contrasts" is a title that matches a photographic exhibition. The current queen of Chanel makeup, Lucia Pica, approaches cosmetics and collections more like an artist than a makeup artist. The summer launch is not about color, as is usually the case with Pika, but about light: the very contrasts are created by the convergence of matte and shiny textures.

The most interesting and challenging product in the collection is Ombre Première Gloss, an eyeliner gloss that can be used solo or over eyeshadow. By themselves, the shadows demonstrate a barely noticeable overflow (this is not aigloss or glitter) and cool the look, and as a top you can play with them endlessly. Another good luck is a double bronzer / highlighter: this time a great light shade came out that gently sculpts the face, rather than reddish it. Well, the varnishes, as always, are good - instead of torn-eyed neon, this time the nails are proposed to be painted in complex pastel colors.

Dior

Wild earth

Dior's Creative Makeup Director Peter Philips is simultaneously modernizing the brand entrusted to him, releasing the brightest On Stage eyeliners and coming up with interesting textures like Lip Tattoo, and returns the brand to its roots. So, launched last year, the Backstage palettes and the new Tri (O) Blique eyeshadow collection sport a relief in the form of the classic Dior logo, which the brand abandoned many years ago along with Christian in the brand name.

At the same time, Philips uses Dior's favorite shades and images: new look, red and now an animal print. Wild Earth develops an iconic motif for the brand: colors of savannah and desert, all variants of ocher and brown, beige and yellowish with rare bright splashes. Shadows are traditionally beautiful (both Sienna and Terra will allow you to make boring makeup in familiar colors) and confident bright bronzers.

Kiko milano

Ocean feel

The Italians have released a jovial summer collection in their own style - a large one (here you have foundations, brushes, and even a body scrub) and bright (blue, red, all colors of joy). Unexpectedly, the foundation fluid with SPF 30 turned out to be excellent (but we still recommend using separate sun protection products) - there are even light shades that Italian brands usually do not indulge in. The sparkle lipsticks from the Sparkle range are so glittered that they seem almost velvety in the stick. The blush is very beautiful: the bright red Bonne Mine name is misleading, but they can achieve the effect of both a light healthy blush, if you barely touch the surface with a brush, and feverish cheeks - as after great sex.

Magic, historically associated with both female empowerment and beauty, entered cosmetic fashion a few years ago and continues to expand the space of struggle. This summer, Smashbox released a joint collection with the witch and tarot reader Bree Luna, the founder of The Hoodwitch website and Instagram of the same name for more than 400 thousand people.

Bree says she does daily and modern magic, and instead of making baby soup, she talks to subscribers about astrology and mythology, gives interviews and arranges fan meetings. Luna's special love - crystals, to which the Smashbox collection is dedicated - is naturally brilliant.Crystalized includes, of course, highlighters decorated with rhinestones, primer sprays with different special effects (they even promise to cleanse the aura!), As well as gloss, lipsticks and shadows - classic and liquid.

NYX Professional makeup

Glitter Goals and Off Tropic

The official summer collection Bare With Me has not yet reached us, but this does not mean that there is nothing to profit from in anticipation of it. The brand often releases new items, and in the spring and summer it had several big launches - in particular, the Candy Slick lacquer lipsticks, the expansion of the Glitter Goals line (NYX Professional Makeup released a collection in partnership with the Coachella festival) and the small but fun Off Tropic collection.

If you like glitter, then you should definitely try the palettes of cream glitters from Glitter Goals and metallic long-lasting lipsticks, and if the color is bright, then the palette Hasta La Vista, which came out almost congenially discontinued by Urban Decay Electric. Off Tropic also released some cool eyeliners - orange and fuchsia are usually not easy to find.

NARS

Fever Dream, The Exposed and Orgasm

Blush NARS Orgasm

François Nars and the company release several seasonal collections in the summer, and the continuation of the annually replenished Orgasm line, named after the hit blush of the same name. This year, Orgasm can get the maximum (you just can't stop joking about this): the classic blush was released in a limited golden-pink package and a huge volume.

As for Fever Dream, from the offered languid set, you can pay attention to the set of kabuki brushes - if you always wanted to try the mesmerizing beauty of NARS tools, then this is a good moment. The Exposed is a face palette and duo crumbs from Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in classic shades and matched with Glossy Lip Tint - all in travel size.

Clarins

Sunkissed

Clarins Water Lip Stain, Sparkling Red Water

Every year Clarins launches a summer collection centered on a huge compact bronzer with a new relief each time. It is unrealistic to use it for a year, but some make-up amateurs still strive to get a tool - a collectible item after all. This year there are two powders: Sunset Glow is designed to make sleek, rested skin in the style of makeup without makeup, Sunrise Glow, on the other hand, offers to do light sculpting. In addition to powders, the collection includes three brilliant shades of the successful Water Lip Stain tint (by the way, they do not dry lips at all, unlike most of their Korean counterparts) and a blue automatic pencil from the new and very cool Waterproof line.

Kat von d

Lolita

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, Lolita

One of the frequent reproaches towards the scandalous tattoo artist Kat Von Dee is the provocative names of the products of the makeup brand of the same name. Ethical controversies regularly take place about the name of one of the most popular lipsticks Lolita - Kat herself explained a few years ago that she conceived the tool as an homage to Japanese loli fashion, and later dedicated it to her friend's daughter Denise Richards.

Kat recently released an entire collection of Lolita, which continues the color scheme of the original: it includes shiny liquid lipstick, matte eyeshadow palette and eyeliner. And if the lipstick and palette are beautiful, but not unique (almost everyone has done their own version of pink shadows in recent years), then the eyeliner is very interesting: the dark pink color turns out to be surprisingly flattering and emphasizes the iris of any shade. And very persistent, like everything in Kat Von D.

L'Occitane

Collection Fruity

The French care brand has not performed with makeup since 2011, when the beautifully designed, but average in terms of quality, Pivoine Flora collection was released, continuing the "peony" series for the face. This summer, the brand revived and released the Collection Fruity line, which received the name "Fruit Nectar" in Russian translation. These are lip products - scrubs, balms (tinted and one classic), a primer mask and lipsticks in eight shades. L'Occitane's care always succeeds, so it is expectedly good, but lipsticks (classic sticks with a contrasting core), perhaps, exceed expectations: the brand has found a balance between color and density, and the shades are bright, but translucent, and the texture itself is creamy and balsamic.

Vivienne sabo

Rouge Feministe

Femvertising is gaining momentum - girl-power slogans on T-shirts, bags and dresses have become an indispensable attribute of fashion brands in different price categories in recent years. The conservative brand of Russian origin Vivienne Sabo, which usually appeals to “French charm” and other eternal values, turned out to be unexpectedly progressive. The brand has made a collection of Rouge Feministe lipsticks, where each shade is named after a French woman who is important for the women's movement - from raspberry Simone (de Beauvoir) to pale pink Marie (Skłodowska-Curie). Moreover, Vivienne Sabo made a step forward not only conceptually, but also of high quality - lipsticks came out an order of magnitude better than their classic ones.

Too faced

Pretty rich

The playful American brand, which recently celebrated its twentieth anniversary, has made several collections for this spring-summer, which are slowly approaching us. The loudest of these is Pretty Rich: you can now feel rich by buying a lip gloss, highlighter or an octagon-shaped palette. Pertinent left-wing criticism of the name and idea aside, the collection is glorious, albeit uneven.

The biggest object of desire in blogs was the Diamond Light palette - it attracted not only with its shape and shades, but also with a successful concept: four rows, each with four complementary shades of different textures, from matte to glitter. The brand is especially proud of these glitters - and they are really good, like most other textures, but for some reason a couple of satin shades came out as dry as if they sailed from 1998, when Jerrod and Jeremy were just starting out.

Guerlain

Endless love

Every summer Guerlain releases a collection built around the permanent Terracota line: new versions of "meteorites" appear, limited edition bronzers, the packaging of which is becoming more and more interesting, body products and accompanying makeup. This year, Guerlain's bronzing powder came out in a wooden case, with a very beautiful relief and gold plating - like the Météorites, Terracota powders are bought by collectors every year, but the chances of grabbing a rare edition in the case of a bronzer are higher. It makes sense to pay attention to the gel blush-balls, similar to ice cream - they have a very delicate translucent effect.

Ciaté London

Last year, the cartoon "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" celebrated its 30th anniversary. Its central character is the drawn Jessica Rabbit, "the embodied male fantasy," in the words of director Robert Zemeckis, "the ideal woman," copied from Rita Hayworth. This summer, the cheerful British brand Ciaté London, which once became famous for its nail polishes, made a collection dedicated to Jessica - a symbol of both feminism and objectification. The collection includes a highlighter with a recognizable silhouette of the heroine on the relief, a palette of eyeshadows in the shades that the cartoon fam fatal prefers, and a shiny red lipstick.
