Freydik - dog psychologist
People who have a pet for the first time feel confused: there are many questions, and advice from the Internet contradicts each other. It's good that more and more classroom lessons appear to help responsible owners - including free and not time-consuming. The Russian-language telegram bot "Freydik" is just one of them: it invites novice owners to understand the body language that dogs use. The bot's creators emphasize that "the secret of a good relationship with a dog is in mutual understanding and partnership, not domination and punishment."
Freydik will tell you what your dog is thinking when he turns away from you, stops and starts sniffing the ground in the midst of a game, walks to another dog sideways, or licks his nose. But most importantly, the bot will teach you to use this language: with the help of gestures that dogs themselves use, you can calm an excited animal or explain to your pet that you do not have time for hours of playing with a ball right now. For example, if the dog is jumping around you while you are trying to rest after a hard day, you can start yawning or fence off the beast with a book - there it will be clear to him that you are not ready for interaction. And if a dog jumps on you when you meet, you need to try to turn your back to it or freeze. The bot accompanies all the tips with funny visual gifs, and Freydik suggests checking the acquired knowledge using a simple test.
