British brand Vivienne Westwood presented its autumn-winter collection - 2019. A star team gathered on the set of the advertising campaign: the author of the photo shoot was Jurgen Teller, the makeup was done by Isamaya French, and the stylist was Sam McKnight, who worked with Princess Diana.
In addition to Ducky Toth and Jordan Barrett, the designers of the brand themselves - Andreas Kronthaler and Vivienne Westwood, the mother of punk culture in fashion, became models. The grunge, punk and glam rock collection is inspired by Greek mythology and the London Symphony Orchestra.
The shooting took place against the backdrop of the iconic London neighborhood - the Barbican - and was timed to coincide with its 50th anniversary. This monument to brutalism from the late 60s is reminiscent of post-apocalyptic dystopia. The distinctive features of brutalism, which became popular in the post-war period, are bare concrete and shapes reminiscent of the fortifications of the Second World War.
