I am learning to relate

take care of yourself, don't push when

does not work, and praise - when something comes out

Quarantined routine

Due to quarantine, I cannot do two of my favorite things: get tattoos and look for things in second-hand shops. The current situation greatly affects my emotional state, and it's not only about finances - there have always been a lot of live communication in my life, which I appreciate and which helps me a lot. I love the whole process of tattoos, I love finding new cool things. It is my constant routine that brings me a sense of stability, security and happiness. This is not the case now. But I try not to think about it and rest, which in my case means consuming different content for days without getting out of bed. Sometimes it turns out to be creative under the pressure of everyone's productivity on the Internet. I learn to treat myself more carefully, not to press when it doesn't work out, and to praise when something comes out.

Care and make-up

To be honest, now I do not adhere to the care system - I do everything through force. If I wash off my makeup with a special product, and not with a damp cloth, this is already a breakthrough! There was a time when I had my own beauty routine for morning and evening, with masks twice a week, rituals in a bath with salt, and so on. But when I moved into an apartment with an uncomfortable bathroom, the withdrawal gradually faded away.

Previously, I applied tone with powder, dark shadows, painted dark eyebrows. Now it seems to me that all this does not suit me, and it is generally difficult to exist with a tone - I cannot imagine how I used to apply it every day and went to work. I just really didn't like the pigmentation, so I wanted to cover it up. Now I love minimalist makeup: I can do a couple of dots with concealer, but overall I'm happy with how I look, even with the remaining pigmentation. I like to try new things, partly I'm motivated by Instagram, which has a lot of cool talented people.

In quarantine, I began to paint much less, because I usually did it before sessions or events. But sometimes Instagram lures me in, and I write make-up stories. It helps keep yourself busy and try new ideas.

Accepting yourself

All my life I was tall and thin - this was especially noticeable in puberty. In high school, the boys made fun of me, said that I had no breasts and priests, and no one needed me like that. The girls said I was a skeleton. My grandmother complained that someday I would be "blown away" by the wind. For a long time, my mom's partner made inappropriate remarks about how little I eat, that I looked "weak," and called it "bacillus." During adolescence, I almost did not hear supportive, kind words about my appearance. There have been many such stories throughout my life, so I still work on self-esteem. Creativity helped me - I drew characters with a similar physique, thereby normalizing it in my eyes. I tried to look for people as thin as me in the media space. I looked for my beauty through the prism of drawings and photographs of other people.

Now, even if this is already a cliché, it is important for me to find balance, to be able to slow down and hear my needs, not to run problems, try to come to terms with them and deal with them at my own pace. Well, be in comfort with yourself.

Tonic Lush Eau Aroma Water

I don't know if this tonic helps my skin, but it smells very good and I love the way it feels on my face. Therefore, I have been buying for the third year. Pencil 3ina The Automatic Eye Pencil 300

For almost a year now I have not let go of this pencil. Creamy and bright. You make them a thick arrow on a motionless eyelid - and that's it, supermake-up is ready. Laboratorium Curatio Nectar No. 1 Lip Balm

Just a delicious, sweet balm with a slight touch. Just right for my eternally chapped lips. Lipstick СolourPop Ziggie

One of the first ColourPop products. This lipstick is always the first on the list of favorite cosmetics. Perfect color for me. I also use it as a blush. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% Serum

I have been using The Ordinary products for a long time - they have many vegan positions, and for me this is a definite plus. I try to use this acid at least once a week before bedtime, and every time it seems as if I wake up with new, clean skin. Highlighter ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Flexitarian

One of my first ColourPop products that I still love and enjoy using. Since then, at least without a drop of highlighter, I am nowhere. Claropsyche Psyche's Box Eyeshadow Palette

This palette was invented by an artist I have been following on Instagram for a long time. As soon as I saw the announcement, I fell in love. I was able to buy myself as a gift for the new, 2019. I use it almost every day, at least because of the convenient mirror. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

I'm always on the lookout for a good moisturizer. I have been using this for a year now, and so far it suits me. Be sure to apply it before makeup. Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara

I still can't decide whether I like to dye my eyelashes or not, but I definitely understand that I love brown mascaras, not black ones. It is also not waterproof, and this is a plus for me: I do not like to wash off makeup for a long time.
