We always associate barbecue with outdoor recreation, a fire, barbecue, coals, a tent and a friendly company. In the culinary world, there are a million recipes for preparing such a wonderful and popular Caucasian dish. Each chef has his own kebab recipe. But today we will talk about an unusual and well-known traditional barbecue, and about a barbecue made from bacon and prunes. This is an unusual appetizer that will suit both a festive table and an everyday dinner. It can also be cooked with equal success over the fire.

Such a kebab will turn out to be very tasty and quite with an unusual taste. The prunes are saturated with bacon fat, and the bacon, in turn, is saturated with the sweet and sour taste of dried fruit. This tandem makes the food very satisfying, tasty and juicy. You can use it both with mashed potatoes and with a cup of fresh coffee. This is a rather unusual dish that deserves to be included in your cookbook.

For the recipe, you can buy ready-made thinly sliced bacon, or you can buy it in a whole piece and cut it yourself. Of course, it will not turn out so thin, but this will only make the dish tastier. Also take bacon with a lot of meat, this will also have a positive effect on the taste.

1. Wash prunes and pat dry with a paper towel. If there are bones in it, then remove them first. Choose whole, undamaged and beautiful berries. If they are too dry, then pre-soak them in hot water, they will be saturated with juiciness and will be tastier.

2. Either slice the bacon into thin slices or buy pre-sliced. Soak wooden skewers in water for half an hour so that they do not burn out during baking. Then string the prunes and bacon alternately. Pass the bacon onto a snake-shaped skewer.

5. Wrap the skewers tightly with foil so that there are no empty spaces and gaps. This is important so that no fat leaks out. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the dish for about 20 minutes. Serve warm to the table. But if you do not use kebabs immediately, then do not unfold them from foil. It will keep food warm and juicy for a long time.
