However, not everyone loves her, since she has been bored since childhood. At the same time, few people will refuse a piece of delicious semolina pie. But not all housewives know the recipe for manna yet, although it is very simple and quick to prepare it, and special culinary skills are not required.
The proposed dessert is an indispensable dish for a modern woman, busy with family and work chores. The main component is semolina, which is available in the arsenal of any kitchen. Additional liquid products can be: kefir, yogurt, fermented baked milk, milk, eggs, fruit puree, etc.
Why semolina is useful
Many are sure that semolina does not bring anything useful to the human body, but on the contrary adds weight and deposits fat folds on the sides. Although there are many useful properties in cereals, it should not be underestimated. So, firstly, semolina is good for the intestines. Ingredients:
- Semolina - 150 g
- Bran - 50 g
- Pumpkin - 250 g
- Orange - 1 pc.
- Butter - 50 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
Cooking manna with pumpkin
1. Peel the pumpkin, cut into cubes, put in a cooking pot, cover with drinking water and cook.
2. Drain the water from the finished vegetable, chop with a blender and leave the mass to cool slightly.
3. Pour semolina, bran and baking soda into a container for kneading dough.
4. Cut the butter into slices and add to a bowl. Remove the oil from the refrigerator beforehand so that it warms up and becomes soft.
5. Pour honey to the products. If it is thick, then flood the mute in a water bath.
6. Wash the orange, dry it and grate the zest on a fine grater. You can replace it with lemon zest.
7. Drive the eggs into a deep container.
8. Beat the eggs with a mixer at high speed until they form an airy foam and double in size.
9. Pour eggs into a bowl with food.
10. Add chilled pumpkin puree.
11. Knead the food well and leave the dough to stand for 10-15 minutes, so that the semolina swells a little.
12. In the meantime, cover the dish with baking parchment, grease it with butter and sprinkle with semolina so that the finished product can be easily released from the mold. Then pour the dough and distribute it evenly.
13. Send the cake to bake in an oven heated to 200 ° C for 40-45 minutes. Check the readiness with a splinter - pierce the product with it - it must be dry. If there is a sticky mass, bake further.
14. Cool the finished dessert and remove from the mold. When hot, it will be very soft and brittle. Sprinkle the cooled manna with powdered sugar and serve with tea.
