Orange slices in chocolate and coconut, the recipe for which I propose, is a dessert similar to fruit ice, but with a significant difference - everything is exclusively natural. The taste of orange slices in chocolate is something refreshing, unforgettable and invigorating. If someone has tried such a magical delicacy, I am sure that they will never forget their amazing taste. Because the combination of dark chocolate with the tart sweetness of oranges is something unimaginable! They melt gently in your mouth, leaving a unique sensation. At such a moment, you forget about everything and just enjoy the taste … The most important thing is that you can make such sweets yourself and it is not difficult to do it.
According to the same recipe, you can cook not only orange slices, but also tangerine, grapefruit, and indeed any fruits and berries. In addition, the taste of dark chocolate can be supplemented with liqueur, rum or whiskey. Alcoholic drinks can be diluted in chocolate or oranges soaked in them. Also, as a culinary experiment, dark chocolate can be replaced with white or milk. Such sweets will serve as a real New Year's dessert, which will be a great gift for your family!

Cooking oranges in chocolate and coconut:
1. Wash and peel the orange. Peel off the soft white skin and divide into wedges. Do not throw away the orange peel. You can make candied fruits or dried zest from it. Then these products are good for baking.
2. Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a bowl. Send it to the microwave or place it on the steam bath, but so that the bowl does not touch the boiling water. Melt it to a liquid consistency, but do not bring it to a boil. Otherwise, it will taste bitter, which will ruin the taste of the dessert.
3. Dip orange slices into melted chocolate until half glaze. However, if you wish, you can dip them whole in chocolate. Spread the fruit on a piece of baking parchment or cling foil.
4. While the frosting is still hot and completely warm, sprinkle the oranges with coconut so that they stick well.
5. Send the New Year's dessert to the refrigerator until it is completely cooled. The chocolate should cool completely and return to its usual hard consistency. This process will take you about an hour. Serve the dessert for the New Year's table with a glass of chilled champagne. It is also good to serve it with a fresh cup of coffee.
