Spaghetti with minced meat, or as they are also called navy-style macaroni, is a favorite classic dish of Soviet home cooking. After all, it is delicious, and simple, and satisfying, and inexpensive, and cooking does not take more than 30 minutes. And the necessary products are always available at the nearest supermarket.
According to the classic recipe, the dish is made from pasta, meat and onions. I slightly modified my recipe, and replaced onions with carrots. The main thing is that the carrots are juicy and tasty. I also made a small amendment to the cooking and added garlic with spices. I had ground nutmeg, dried green basil, and a mixture of peppers. It is the use of these products that is the little secret of the dish. The taste of spaghetti and minced meat changes slightly for the better. Be sure to try it, and you will understand what I mean.
To prepare the recipe, I used one pan, where I fried minced meat with carrots at the same time, so that it was faster. But if you have free time, take two pans or fry the minced meat separately, and then start cooking the carrots. I think the final result of the meal will be even better and worth the time spent.

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti - 200 g
- Minced meat - 400-500 g
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Spices and herbs (any) - to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
Step by step cooking spaghetti with minced meat and vegetables:
1. Wash the selected piece of meat, dry it with a paper towel and pass it through the auger of a meat grinder. For minced meat, you can use any type of meat you like. Also, to speed up the cooking process, you can buy ready-made, twisted minced meat.
2. Peel the carrots, wash and also twist through a meat grinder. Since I fried minced meat with carrots at the same time, I twisted it. If you cook them separately, you can cut the carrots into small pieces. I think so, the dish will be tastier.
3. Pour oil into a skillet and heat well. Then put the minced meat with carrots.
4. Turn on medium heat and fry the meat and carrots for 10-12 minutes, stirring and kneading the lumps with a spatula. Season the minced meat with salt, black pepper and selected spices. During frying, liquid will be released, you do not need to evaporate it, but collect it in a glass with a spoon. Then add it back along with the pasta.
5. Peel the garlic and use a press to pass it into the frying pan with minced meat.
6. While the minced meat is fried, pour water into a saucepan, salt and boil. Then dip the spaghetti into it. If you wish, you can break them into 2-3 parts. Boil the pasta 1-2 minutes less than indicated on the manufacturer's packaging. They should be firm and slightly firm on the inside. They will be cooked together with minced meat in a frying pan.
Instead of spaghetti, you can use any other types of pasta, for example, spirals, tubes, shells, etc. The main thing is that the pasta must be made from durum wheat. Then they will not boil over, but will remain dense and elastic.
7. Put the boiled pasta on a sieve.
8. Do not pour out the water in which the pasta was cooked, it will be useful for the recipe.
9. Send the spaghetti to the skillet with grilled meats and vegetables.
10. Add 2-4 tablespoons of pasta water to the skillet. Also pour out the liquid that has been evaporated from the meat, if collected.
11. Thoroughly mix the pasta with the minced meat. If the mixture is very thick, add a little more spaghetti liquid.
12. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the flame to medium. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes so that the pasta is saturated with the smell and taste of meat and vegetables.
13. Taste the spaghetti with minced meat and vegetables when done, and serve a simple, hearty and tasty everyday meal. You can sprinkle it with grated cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
