- White beans - 150 g
- Milk - 30 ml
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Peeled sunflower seeds - 50 g
- Walnuts - 80 g
- Sugar - 50 g or to taste
- Butter - 30 g
- Prunes - 80 g
- Salt - a pinch
Step by step preparation of white bean cake with prunes and nuts, recipe with photo:
1. Put the beans in a deep bowl and cover with cold water. Water should be 2 times more than the volume of legumes, because beans during this time will increase in size.
2. Place the beans in a sieve, rinse with running water and place in a saucepan. Pour in drinking water and boil over low heat after boiling for 1-1.5 hours. Determine readiness by tasting the beans. Take out 3 beans and nibble on them. If they are all soft, then they are ready. Remove the pan from the heat. If at least one is hard, then continue cooking and try again after a while.
3. Meanwhile, pierce the sunflower seeds in a clean, dry skillet until light golden brown.
4. Wash prunes and steam in boiling water for 5 minutes. If there is a bone in the dryer, then remove it.
5. Dry the walnut kernels in a clean frying pan and grind into small pieces.
6. Remove the prunes from the water, dry well and cut into small pieces.

10. Melt the butter and add to the bean puree. Pour milk there, add sugar and a pinch of salt.
11. Mix everything well with a blender until smooth.

14. Stir the food well with a tablespoon so that it is evenly distributed throughout the mass.
15. Put plastic gloves on your hands and shape into round cakes about 5 cm in diameter.
