But today I propose to prepare a dish not only for a solemn event, but also for a family dinner - a salad with beef tongue. This is a tasty, satisfying and not too high-calorie dish. The offal is complemented with tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs, which add freshness and aroma. The dish is simple and quick. But, of course, the salad recipe assumes that the tongue must already be boiled and cooled. Then the cooking process will take literally a few minutes.
So, let's try to make a salad with tongue and tomatoes at home. Almost all vegetables are ideally combined with this meat product, not just cucumbers and tomatoes. You can add bell pepper, stalk celery, cabbage, etc. to the salad. You can make a more satisfying meal by adding boiled chicken eggs or cheese. Do not forget to add fresh herbs: onions, garlic, parsley, dill, cilantro, basil - they emphasize the taste of the boiled offal.

Then change the water, add salt, add onions with your favorite spices and simmer for 2 hours over low heat under the lid. Then place the offal under running cold water for a few minutes and peel off the top whitish film. Cool the offal well at room temperature and chill in the refrigerator. It is worth noting that you cannot digest the tongue, otherwise it will turn out to be too soft and will fall apart. After boiling, the broth can be used to make soup.
6. Combine all chopped foods in a deep bowl.
7. Add grain mustard, salt and vegetable oil. If you wish, you can prepare any dressing products, or prepare a complex component dressing using soy sauce, grape vinegar, balsamic sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, natural yogurt, sour cream, etc.
