How to care for your neck throughout the day:

In the morning

Let's start with morning water procedures. While showering, rinse your neck with cool water, directing the flow of water in different directions. We emphasize that it is cool, and not warm, in order to improve blood circulation in this area. Once dry, rub it with toner or cucumber juice.

In the evening

When removing daytime makeup, remove dust accumulated during the day from it with a cotton pad. For these purposes, make-up remover milk is ideal. This is my favorite remedy, it does not sting the eyes and moisturizes the skin well. Next, use a neck mask or scrub, and then wipe the neck with a tonic to restore the normal pH of the skin, disturbed by washing. During the procedures, you cannot handle the skin anyhow, all touches must be directed from the center to the lateral surface.

As for creams, not all of them are intended for both the face and the neck. It is better to choose with collagen - it is this substance that "tightens" flabby folds and improves tone. Apply it from the bottom up, not vice versa (this will stretch the skin and lose elasticity). Distribute the product in a “fan” over the décolleté area from the center downwards and in both directions.

At night

Pay attention to how well you sleep. All neck care will go to waste if you continue to sleep on the big pillow. Because of it, wrinkles only appear, so it is better to choose special orthopedic or pillows made from natural materials (for example, from buckwheat husks). It is good for the neck, face and overall health.

Sitting in the workplace, you can do some simple exercises. Repeat each of them 3 times. The number of repetitions over time should be increased to 10-12 times.

  1. As you turn your head to the right and left, look back over your shoulder.
  2. As you tilt your head to the left and right, prevent the movement of your head with your hands. Put your hands on your temples.
  3. Sitting at the table, place your elbows on the table. Propping your chin with your fists, tilt your head forward. Overcome hand resistance. The muscles in the neck will tense at the same time.
  4. Clasp your hands at the back of your head and, resisting them, tilt your head back.
  5. Pull the lips with a tube and continuously pronounce the sounds O-U-I-A-S (with effort). At the same time, strain the neck muscles.
  6. Tilt your head back with your mouth open. Try to close your jaws with force so that you cover your upper lip with your lower lip.
  7. Exercise at work: take a pencil in your teeth, stretch your chin forward and draw numbers 2, 3, 9, 10 in the air.
  8. Mask of "contempt": lower the corners of the mouth, while tightening the muscles of the neck.
  9. Spread out your chest, place your hands on your shoulders. Pressing with your hands, try to stretch your neck with force. Stretching out, inhale, count to 10, then relax and exhale. This will keep the skin firm and free from folds and wrinkles.
  10. Straighten your shoulders, lower your head to your chest. Tilt it to the left shoulder (as far as possible), fold it back, then to the right and again - on the chest.

Contrast compresses

To avoid the appearance of a double chin, it is helpful to do contrast compresses for the neck twice a week. They tone, refresh, improve blood circulation. Soaking a towel or thick washcloth alternately in hot and cold water, apply to your neck and chin. Repeat 5-6 times. In this case, a cold compress lasts 4-5 seconds, a hot one - 2 minutes. Start and end cold.

In this case, warm herbal compresses made from mint, linden, and sage are suitable for your neck care. Take a cotton towel, soak in the broth, squeeze and wrap your neck for 20 minutes.

There are many recipes for neck care, but we will tell you about one proven method - cucumber wrap. You need overripe cucumbers. Cut, remove the seeds from them and cut out the semi-liquid mass. Apply it on the neck, cover with gauze (folded in 4 layers). Wait 20 minutes, rinse with cool water, apply a nourishing cream. Cucumber juice smoothes wrinkles, whitens the skin, making it soft and velvety.
