Its presence in the refrigerator is a guarantee that there will always be a variety of salads on the table. It is no coincidence that Peking is called a head salad. This, of course, is the wrong name for the vegetable, but it fully reflects the actual essence. Perhaps, probably, there is no such product that would categorically not be combined with "Peking". In addition, the indisputable advantage of cabbage is the nutritional value and healing substances contained in it, which strengthen the immune system and prevent certain chronic diseases.
The proposed salad recipe is perfect for dieters and lovers of healthy and low-calorie foods. Note that the taste of the salad can be controlled by apples, using sour or sweet varieties. Ingredients:
- Peking cabbage - 4 leaves
- Apples - 1 pc.
- Olive oil - for dressing
- Salt - a pinch
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Radish - 5-7 pcs.
- Eggs - 1 pc.
Step by step preparation of Peking cabbage salad, radishes, apples and cheese, recipe with photo:
1. From Chinese cabbage, remove the top leaves, wash and dry with a paper towel. Cut them into thin strips.
2. Wash and dry the apples with a paper towel. Use a special knife to remove the core with the seeds, and cut the pulp into strips. If you wish, you can cut the skin off, but I recommend leaving it as it is. it contains the maximum amount of vitamins.
3. Wash the radishes and dry them with a paper towel. Cut it into thin half rings.
4. Boil the eggs for about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to ice water to cool. Peel and cut into 6-8 slices.
5. Cut the cheese into thin slices.
6. Arrange all prepared products in portioned glasses: in layers or in a mixture, as you like. Pour olive oil over the Chinese cabbage salad, radishes, apples and cheese and serve. It must be consumed immediately after preparation, it is not prepared for future use.
