This dish is somewhat like a scrambled omelet, because fried mushrooms are mixed with eggs and cheese. - Frozen forest mushrooms - 400 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Mushroom seasoning - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Hard cheese - 50 g
Step by step preparation of fried mushrooms with cheese and egg, recipe with photo:
1. Pre-defrost the mushrooms naturally at room temperature, and preferably slowly in the refrigerator. Wash them under running water and dry with a paper towel. Then cut into medium sized pieces.
If the mushrooms were not boiled before freezing, or you are using fresh forest mushrooms, boil them for 40 minutes beforehand, and only then fry.
2. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat well. Send prepared dried mushrooms to it and fry them over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Season them with black pepper salt and mushroom seasoning.
3. Grate the cheese on a medium or coarse grater and send to the pan with the mushrooms. Any kind of cheese can be used, even prefabricated leftovers of different types.
4. Immediately drive a raw egg into the pan.
5. Turn off heat and remove skillet from stove. Use a spatula to stir the mushrooms, cheese and egg in quick movements. The hot temperature of the mushrooms will melt the cheese and the eggs will coagulate. The products will envelop the mushrooms in a delicate mass. When this happens, fried mushrooms with cheese and eggs are considered ready and the dish can be served to the table, or used for other dishes and snacks.
