- Kefir - 150 ml
- Persimmon - 1 pc.
- Butter - to lubricate the baking dish
- Salt - a pinch
- Baking soda - 1 tsp without slide
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Sugar - 100 g or to taste
- Flour - 350 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
Step-by-step preparation of a persimmon cake on kefir, a recipe with a photo:
1. Combine eggs with sugar.
2. Beat eggs until fluffy. Pour in kefir with vegetable oil and beat again until smooth. Kefir and eggs must be at room temperature for the soda to react with the fermented milk product. Therefore, remove them from the refrigerator beforehand to warm them up.
3. Add flour, a pinch of salt and baking soda to the liquid base. Beat the dough again with a mixer. Its consistency should be like pancake dough.
4. Wash persimmons, dry and cut into pieces of any size. Add them to the dough and stir.
5. Line a baking dish with baking parchment and grease with butter. Pour the dough and place in a preheated oven to 180 degrees.
6. Bake the cake with persimmon on kefir for 40 minutes. Check readiness with a puncture of a wooden stick: it must be dry without sticking. If there are pieces of dough on it, continue baking for another 5 minutes and take a sample again. Cool the finished baked goods in the form, because when hot, it is very fragile and can break. Then, if desired, sprinkle with icing or powdered sugar and serve.
