Metformin is tacitly called tableted insulin, since it was created for people with type 2 diabetes. Now the drug is increasingly being combined with insulin injections. When using Metformin, the absorption of glucose by the body is reduced, and the reactions of anaerobic glycolysis in tissues are accelerated. However, the most important ability of metformin is to increase the concentration of fatty acids in the blood, which in simple terms means the acceleration of fat burning processes.
For athletes, the use of the solo drug seems to be the most effective, since in this case it burns fats more efficiently. The drug should be used from 18 to 22 days, after which you should take a break for one or two months. If the pause between Metformin courses is shorter, the body will adapt to its effects, which will lead to a sharp decrease in effectiveness.
The dosage of Metformin ranges from 1.375 to 1.5 grams daily. This is the minimum amount of the drug, in which side effects are impossible, and fats will be burned quite actively. However, the maximum effect of fat burning can be achieved with the use of 1.7 to 2 grams daily, however, the risks of side effects will also increase. The daily dosage should be divided into at least two equal doses, and even better into three. The drug is taken simultaneously with food.
Properties and uses of bromocriptine
This drug is not a fat burner in the classical sense, but athletes use it for this very purpose. Bromocriptine has the ability to reduce the rate of prolactin synthesis and increase the production of growth hormone. It also increases the production of the satiety hormone (leptin) and enhances libido.
These features of the drug are associated with the fact that it is essentially a dopamine receptor agonist. The most effective time to use the drug is a pause between anabolic cycles. In turn, in preparation for the competition, Bromocriptine reduces hunger and promotes the burning of subcutaneous fat. The drug should be taken twice a day, one tablet in the morning and evening hours. To enhance the fat-burning effect during the first two weeks of the course, you can take an additional one pill also during the day.
The drug is practically devoid of side effects, which in any case disappear after several days of using the drug.
Properties and uses of Danazol
This drug belongs to the group of reducing agents. Danazol is very similar in structure to Stanozolol and Miotolan, but its properties are far from these drugs. In some ways, the effect of the drug on the body is similar to Meterolone and can be used as an alternative.
The drug has a very weak androgenic activity, which becomes noticeable only at high dosages. Bodybuilders use Danazol exclusively as an antiestrogen when it is necessary to quickly eliminate the negative effects of estradiol with its high content in the blood.
It should also be noted that the agent promotes an increase in androgen-type cell receptors in the muscle fibers and slightly stimulates the synthesis of growth hormone. You can also remember the ability of the drug to improve the processes of glucose utilization. The daily dosage is 200 to 400 milligrams. It should be remembered that Danazol is able to reduce the production of natural testosterone and for this reason it should be used in combination with Tamoxifen or Clomid.
Properties and application of Testolactone
This is a very unusual drug and it is difficult to classify it into one of the groups. Its molecules have a similar structure to testosterone, but Testolactone cannot boast of any of the properties that the male hormone has. In this case, it should be noted the antiestrogenic properties of the drug and some analogy with the effect on the body of Gonadotropin.
Testolactone was created as an aromatase inhibitor and can be used similarly to Proviron or Arimidex. But not only this property of the drug prompted athletes to use it in bodybuilding. As mentioned above, it quite effectively increases the synthesis of natural testosterone and at the same time suppresses the production of estrogen, in contrast to Gonadotropin. And, of course, the complete absence of side effects had a great influence on its popularity among athletes.
The daily dose of Testolactone ranges from 200 to 250 milligrams with daily intake. But at the same time, it should be noted the rather high cost of the drug. This fact makes it not very valuable as an aromatase inhibitor. But for the recovery of the body after the AAS cycle, it can be very useful.
