And although in Italy sausages are almost never used for pizza, they prefer more ham and raw smoked sausage, but this recipe can be slightly changed. Having made delicious pizza edges from sausages, the dish will sparkle in a new way. It will appeal to both adults and children. It will look great at home lunch and dinner, as well as decorate the table in a circle of fun gatherings with friends. A pizza like this would look great on a solo table. But it also goes well with other Mediterranean dishes, for example, with Greek salad. In addition, you can take ready-made pizza with you to a picnic and reheat it on the grill, then it will be even tastier.
I recommend taking sausages for the recipe with a spicy and bright taste. Ordinary ones will not work, otherwise the pizza will seem uninteresting and bland. And if such an edge is always done in different ways and with different products, then you can constantly delight your family with delicious and new food. A similar recipe is definitely suitable for lovers of sausages in dough! Well, you can vary the basic filling for pizza as you wish, or choose the suggested version below.

Ingredients:
- Dough (any) - 300 g
- Sausages - 6-8 pcs. (depending on size)

How to make a pizza with a delicious edge step by step:
1. Cut the ham into cubes, strips or slices. The cutting shape can be different.
2. Wash the tomatoes, pat dry with a paper towel and cut into 5 mm thin rings.
3. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
4. Prepare the dough. Roll it into a round layer and put it in a mold. The dough should be slightly larger in diameter than the shape, i.e. the edges should hang slightly. The dough can be any: puff, yeast, unleavened, etc. Store-bought or actually cooked will do. You can also choose one of the proposed types of test, which I previously shared on the site.
5. Spread the sausages evenly over the dough circle, as shown in the photo.
6. Tuck the dough, covering the sausages.
7. Send the workpiece to a heated oven to 200 degrees for 5-7 minutes to brown the base a little.
8. Grease the baked dough liberally with ketchup and sprinkle with finely chopped garlic.
9. Spread finely chopped onions on top.
10. Fill the inside of the pizza with ham.
11. Arrange the tomatoes on top and pour over them with mayonnaise.
12. Sprinkle everything with plenty of hearty shavings. And send the baked pizza in a heated oven for another 5-7 minutes to melt the cheese. If you like a cheese crust, then keep the pizza in the brazier for 7 minutes, prefer a stringy and melted one - 3-4 minutes. Eat pizza hot after cooking.
