Ingredients:
- Pork - 800 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Prunes - 100 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Semolina - 2 tablespoons
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Mustard - 0.5 tsp
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Cooking meatballs with prunes and semolina
1. Peel the pork from the film, cut off excess fat and remove the veins. Wash, dry with a paper towel and twist through a meat grinder.
2. Peel the onions, wash and mince.
3. Squeeze the peeled garlic cloves through a press.
4. Pour semolina into the minced meat, beat in the eggs and season with salt and ground pepper.
5. Mix the minced meat well until smooth and smooth. Leave it to stand for 20 minutes so that the semolina swells a little. Then pour in 2-3 tbsp. drinking water and stir again. This will make the patties juicier.
6. Wash the prunes, dry with a paper towel and cut into strips or cubes. If there is a seed in the berries, remove it first.
7. Take some minced meat and make a round cake out of it. Put some prunes in the middle.
8. Top with a second meat cake. Take the ball in your hands and twist so that the edges are fastened on all sides.
9. Put the frying pan on the stove, pour in vegetable oil and heat it up. When the heat goes on, it means that it is well hot. Place the meatballs in a skillet and fry them on both sides until golden brown. But screw the fire to medium mode so that they do not burn.
10. Then turn them over and fry for the same amount of time until golden brown. On average, it will take you about 15 minutes to fry one serving in a pan.
