Spaghetti is one of the most commonly used breakfast foods. Most often it is served with grated cheese, bacon or scrambled eggs. But today I propose to diversify the dish by adding bright color and additional benefits to it. And although the combination of spaghetti and beets will seem strange at first glance, it turns out to be a rather tasty and interesting dish that even an inexperienced cook can do. This dish is a godsend for those who are fed up with standard meat or mushroom sauces. The dish may seem boring to you, but if you cook it at least once, then be sure of the opposite.
To prepare the dish, you can boil the beets in a peel or bake them wrapped in foil, and then store them in the refrigerator until you decide to prepare the dish. You can do this on weekends, and then cook not only delicious, but also healthy breakfasts throughout the week. By the way, such a combination of products seems unusual for us at first glance, but they love to cook it in the north of Italy. The food there is one of the favorites, in particular in the regions of Venice, Friuli, Giulia and Trentino. And if you wish, before serving the dish, you can supplement the dish with the usual grated parmesan or regular hard cheese.

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti - 200 g
- Beets - 0.5 pcs.
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Garlic - 1 clove
Cooking spaghetti with beets:
1. Pour drinking water into a saucepan, season with salt and add 1 tbsp. vegetable oil. Oil is necessary so that the beets do not stick together in a single lump during cooking. Although expensive varieties of pasta do not need an oil supplement.
2. Boil water and put spaghetti in it. They can be of any shape: long spaghetti, horns, tubes, bows, etc. Boil the spaghetti over medium heat for 1 minute less than the time indicated on the manufacturer's package.
3. As mentioned above, boil or bake the beets in the oven until cooked. After cooling, so as not to burn yourself, peel and grate on a coarse grater or cut into thin strips.
4. Pour 1 tablespoon into the pan. vegetable oil and put the peeled garlic clove, chopped into small pieces. Fry it over medium heat until golden brown and remove from the pan. It is necessary that it aromatizes the oil and gives off its smell and taste.
5. Then send the grated beets into the pan.
6. Tilt the spaghetti onto a fine sieve to glass the liquid. But leave about 50 ml of this water. After the boiled spaghetti, put in the pan.
7. Stir spaghetti with beets, pour in 50 ml of broth, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 1-3 minutes. Serve the dish to the table after cooking, if you wish, you can decorate it with herbs or cheese.
