Ingredients:
- Crucian carp - 6 pcs.
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Vegetable oil - for greasing the baking sheet
- Mayonnaise - 50 ml
- Seasoning for fish - 1 tsp
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
Step-by-step cooking of crucian carp with mayonnaise in the oven, recipe with photo:
1. Use a scraper to remove the scales from the crucian carp, remove the gills with the insides and remove the black film from the abdomen. After these procedures, rinse the carcasses under running water and dry with a paper towel. If the fishy smell is bothering you, lemon juice can help get rid of it, with which you wipe the fish.
2. Rub the carcasses on all sides and inside with salt, black pepper and aromatic spices.
3. Make cross-shaped cuts on both sides of the crucian carp with a knife. They will allow the meat to cook better. This action will also soften small bones. Place the prepared carcasses on a baking sheet, greased with a thin layer of vegetable oil.
4. Apply a layer of mayonnaise to each carcass. It can be rubbed over the carcass of the fish or left as it is.
5. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the crucian carp with mayonnaise to bake. Cooking time depends on the size of the fish. Small individuals will be ready in 20-25 minutes, and more carcasses will be cooked up to 1 hour. The finished dish is served freshly prepared. Mashed potatoes and a fresh vegetable salad are good garnishes.
