Sauces are needed for lasagna, and dough for pizza. I propose an alternative version - cannelloni. Cooking will take 30 minutes and another 20 minutes in the oven. Quite very fast! But first, let's figure out what a cannelloni is? Canneloni is a type of Italian pasta that is also known by another name as manicotti. These are large tubular pasta, sometimes reaching up to 3 cm in diameter and 6-10 cm in length. In Italian cuisine, meat with vegetables, cheeses and sauces is most often placed in the rather spacious interior of the cannelloni. Tomato, milk, sour cream, cream are used as sauces, from which a complex component sauce is made.

I want to suggest a recipe for cannelloni with duck. Here, a light milk sauce is harmoniously combined with juicy minced duck meat seasoned with tomato and soy sauce. The minced meat also contains fried onions and, of course, cheese. Almost not one Italian dish is complete without it. Fans of meat and pasta dishes will definitely like canneloni with duck. This is a great alternative to navy pasta, Italian lasagna and homemade dumplings. An interesting and non-standard dish is prepared quickly, while the taste is no worse. Ingredients:

  • Cannelloni - 13-15 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil - for frying
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Spices and herbs to taste
  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Duck breasts - 2 pcs.
  • Ground black pepper - a pinch
  • Tomato paste - 100 g
  • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
  • Milk - 600 ml
  • Cheese - 150 g

1. Wash and dry duck breasts with a paper towel. Peel and wash onions. Twist the products through a meat grinder.

2. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and send the minced meat to fry over medium heat.

3. After 10 minutes of frying the minced meat, season it with salt, black pepper, tomato paste, soy sauce and any herbs with herbs.

4. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

5. Fill the cannelloni with the filling. Don't do it too hard. Do not stuff them tightly, as they may burst during cooking. But first, before stuffing, read the instructions on the package, because some types of cannelloni require a short boil before the dough becomes pliable.

6. Boil milk, salt and pepper. Then fill it with pasta.
