Smoked fish is a delicacy that is delicious on its own. Her presence alone gives a festive flavor to the feast. However, it still goes well with many dishes. For example, a green salad with smoked fish will be the center of attention of guests and will perfectly fit into a home menu. The proposed dish is not difficult to prepare and all available products are used in the recipe.
Any smoked fish is suitable for preparing the salad, in accordance with the preferences of the chef and eaters. I have smoked salmon ridges today. But any sea fish of red varieties, dietary fish species such as cod, tuna or mackerel, catfish, sardines and even silver carp are suitable for the recipe. The main thing is that it is fresh, pleasant to look at and without any foreign smell.
The amount of the rest of the products can be varied to achieve the perfect taste. I am dominated by young cabbage, you can also focus on cucumbers. After all, the main focus of the salad is smoked fish. You can add other ingredients to the salad if you wish. For example, cheese, eggs and a variety of fresh vegetables with herbs will fit well here. Especially complement the dish with cilantro, basil, thyme or parsley.
Season the salad to your taste - with butter, sour cream or mayonnaise. It turns out all the same very tasty and satisfying. You can make a complex sauce. It is important that the salad is served immediately after preparation. Since it cannot be insisted, otherwise the vegetables will let juice and the dish will be watery.
