Ingredients:
- Smoked chicken leg - 2 pcs.
- Salt - 1.5 tsp or to taste
- Cucumbers - 3 pcs.
- Potatoes - 4 pcs.
- Dill - large bunch
- Citric acid - 1 tsp
- Green onions - large bunch
- Sour cream - 500 ml
- Eggs - 5 pcs.
Step-by-step cooking okroshka in smoked broth with smoked chicken, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the smoked chicken leg under running water. Dip in a saucepan, cover with water and place on the stove. Boil, remove the foam, turn the heat to the minimum setting and cook the broth for 40 minutes. Instead of smoked chicken leg, you can use smoked chicken breast.
2. Remove the boiled chicken from the broth, place on a plate and leave to cool. Chill the broth as well. To do this, you can put the pan in a bowl of ice water. Or, boil the broth overnight so that it chills well in the refrigerator.
3. Cut the boiled chicken into small cubes.
4. Wash the potatoes, boil in salted water in their uniforms, cool, peel and cut into cubes.
5. Wash the eggs, put them in a saucepan with cold water and boil them hard for 8-10 minutes. Transfer them to a container of ice water and leave to cool completely. Peel the eggs and cut into cubes.
6. Wash cucumbers, dry, cut off the ends and cut into small cubes.
7. Wash green onions, dry and chop finely.
